Compression Fittings
Our
316 stainless steel compression fittings consist of four parts: body, front ferrule, back ferrule, and nut. The two-ferrule design compensates for any tolerances in tube O.D., wall thickness, material hardness, and maintains leak-tight connections. Our extensive inventory of stainless-steel metal
compression fittings includes
union crosses,
male elbows,
Tee fittings,
nuts, and more.
D.O.T. Products
Our DOT products are designed to meet exacting Department of Transportation (D.O.T.) federal standard specifications, our
brass push-in fittings have no assembly required and are designed to minimize wear while keeping tube and hose locked in place. Our D.O.T. approved metal fittings inventory includes
union tubes,
elbow swivels,
union tees,
male or
female connectors, and other options for any application that must meet D.O.T. requirements.
Hose Barb Fittings
Polyconn carries a wide variety of
Barb Fittings and
Mini Fittings. Our brass hose barb fittings are made of 360CA brass. Typically found in industrial markets including air and water, brass barb fittings are well-suited to low-pressure applications, particularly involving rubber hose, thermoplastic hose, and sometimes polyurethane tubing. While the pressure rating varies based on the hose or tubing in use, our hose barb fittings have a working pressure of 150 PSI.
Pipe Fittings
Polyconn offers two types of metal
pipe fittings:
brass and nickel-plated brass pipe fittings or
stainless steel pipe fittings.
- Brass and nickel-plated brass pipe fittings are made of extruded CA 36000 and meet SAE, ASME, and ASA requirements. Designed to use with brass, copper, or iron pipe, our brass and nickel-plated brass pipe fittings have a pressure rating of 1000 PSI.
- Stainless steel pipe fittings are made of 304 stainless steel for air, water, oil, natural gas, and steam. The stainless steel pipe fitting maximum pressure is 150 PSI at 72°F.
Push-to-Connect Fittings
We stock two types of metal
push-to-connect fittings:
nickel-plated brass push-in fittings and
stainless steel push-in fittings. Both are suited to pneumatic applications like robotics, conveyer systems, or any system requiring the transfer of compressed air or liquids compatible with the materials of manufacture. Our electroless nickel-plated push-in fittings are made from forged brass or machined bar stock. Stainless steel push-in fittings are made from forged or machined bar stock 316 stainless steel.
Metal Fittings Materials
Polyconn sources metal fittings made from highly durable and corrosion-free metals to extend the life of your pneumatic application. Some of our materials include:
- Stainless Steel
- Brass
- Nickel-Plate
- And more.
